Raised in 1732 as the seat of the Peshwas, Shaniwarwada's iron-studded gates once turned back charging war elephants. Its scorched stone walls, fountains, and ruined halls still carry that history — walk the grounds by day, or watch them come alive after dark in the evening light-and-sound show.
